Kathryn provided me with valuable guidance on farm life. It quickly became apparent that farm life requires dedicated effort. It is a pursuit that comprises hard work, skilled craftsmanship, and a profound appreciation for nature. Caring for animals, defending them from predators, operating machinery, and upholding sustainability practices are all essential components of farm life. Kathryn generously explained the ins and outs of raising and feeding chickens. We also had the opportunity to learn how to safely navigate among the cows while trying to take portraits of them up close. One vivid memory that stands out is capturing a stunning and intimate portrait of one of the baby calves.
